송리종 (쑹리쭝[자오윈]) |
Emperor Lizong(理宗, 1205~1264, r. 1224-1264), Zhao Yun(趙昀), was the fifth emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty. In 1224 Emperor Ningzong(寧宗) installed Zhao Hong(趙竑) as the Heir Apparent, but after Emperor Ningzong's death, Shi Miyuan(史彌遠) helped Zhao Yun(趙昀) to be enthroned by forging the emperor's will. During his 40 years reign, the court was dominated by a number of powerful courtiers, such as Shi Miyuan. In 1234 the Jin dynasty(金) was ended by the joint forces of the Mongols and the Southern Song Dynasty. In 1259, however, the Mongols invaded the Southern Song dynasty.
