He was referred to as one of the Three Great Masters of he early Song period(宋初三先生) along with Hu Yuan(胡瑗) and Shi Jie(石介). Sun Fu(?~1128) was an official of the Song Dynasty. When the capital of Kaifeng Superior Prefecture(開封) was besieged by the Jin(金) army, he assigned Guo Jing(郭京) to defend it, but the Song forces were destroyed.
