Hu Quan(胡銓, 1102~1180) was an official of the Southern Song Dynasty. Coming from Ji Prefecture(吉州), he earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1128. In the reign of Emperor Gaozong(高宗), he insisted on the execution of Wang Lun(王倫), Qin Hui(秦檜) and Sun Jin(孫近), who advocated peace with the Jin(金 ).
