(허쩡)
(199-279). An official of the Cao Wei 曹魏 and the Western Jin 西晉 dynasties. Known as a man of great erudition, he successively held the position of the Grand Guardian 太保, the Grand Mentor 太傅 and the Grand Preceptor 太宰 during the Western Jin dynasty. 무추(Mouchou 繆醜), 원(Yuan 元), 효(Xiao 孝), 영고(Yingkao 潁考)

A military commander of Qing China who served as regional commander(總兵) in the Guangxu era. 하증주(何增珠)
He Zhu 何鑄 하주
(허주)
He Zhu(何鑄, 1088~1152) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He came from Yuhang District(余杭) and earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1115. He successively took various positions including Inspecting Censor(監察御使) and Vice Censor-in-Chief(御史中丞). In 1141 he interrogated Yue Fei(岳飛), who was falsely accused by Qin Hui, and reported that there was no evidence of crime. He was sent to the Jin(金) as an ambassador several times. 공민(恭敏), 통혜(通惠), 하주(何鑄), 백수(伯壽)
Heruo Bi 賀若弼 하약필
(허뤄비)
Heruo Bi(賀若弼, 544-607), was a famous general of Sui(隋朝). In 588 CE, Sui amassed a large army along the northern bank of the Yangtze River, and the Chen Dynasty(陳) sent troops to resist them. In the confrontation, Heruo Bi prepared a rivercrossing operation. He paid particular attention that his operation was not detected by Chen soldiers. While the Chen forces relaxed, Heruo Bi crossed the Yangtze River and the Sui forces won a great victory. By this contribution he was appointed ShangZhuguo(上柱國). 필(弼), 하(賀), 하약필(賀若弼)
Heshen 和珅 화신
(허선)
Hešen (1750~1799), an official of Qing China who was favoured by Emperor Qianlong. He is well known for being one of the most corrupt officials in Chinese history. 신(珅), 치제(致齋), 만) 허션(Hešen)
Hong Chengchou 洪承疇 홍승주
(훙청처우)
(1593-1665). A native of Fujian 福建 and jinshi of 1616. He became famous for suppressing rebels in the last decades of Ming and eventually became the top commander of the Ming army. He was dispatched to Jinzhou 錦州 to fight against the Manchus, but he was defeated and surrendered. After the surrender, he was appointed to the hightest positions in the Qing court including Grand Secretary 大學士. He proposed that the Qing court adopt various Ming systems. He also served as governor-general of various provinces and often took charge of military supplies for the Manchu army fighting against the Southern Ming 南明. 승주(承疇), 홍승주(洪承疇)
Hong Gong 弘恭 홍공
(훙궁)
(d. 47 BCE). A eunuch who held office as director of the secretariat 尙書令 during the reign of Emperor Xuan of Han 漢宣帝. He and Shi Xian 石顯 were responsible for Xiao Wangzhi's 蕭望之 removal from office and ultimate suicide. 공(Gong 恭), 홍(Hong 弘)
Hong Hao 洪皓 홍호
(훙하오)
Hong Hao(洪皓, 1088~1155) was an official of the Southern Song Dynasty. He came from Rao Prefecture(饒州) and earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1115. The renowned essayist Hong Mai(洪邁) was his son. He was demoted for discord with Qin Hui(秦檜). He was posthumously honored as Zhongxuan(忠宣). 홍호(洪皓)
Hong Mai 洪邁 홍매
(훙마이)
Hong Mai(洪邁, 1123~1202) was an official and essayist of the Southern Song Dynasty. He came from Rao Prefecture(饒州) and was the third son of Hong Hao(洪皓). He reached the position of Hanlin Academician(翰林學士). He was the author of the Spontaneous essays of the Studio of Forbearance(容齋隨筆). 홍매(洪邁), 경로(景盧), 용재(容齋)
