(1365-1426 CE). A native of Lingtong (臨潼), Shaanxi (陝西). He served as Minister of rites (禮部尙書) and Minister of Personnel (吏部尙書) during the Yongle (永樂) and Hongxi (洪熙) eras, respectively.
Lü Zhu 綠珠 녹주
(뤼주)
(d. 300). A favorite concubine of Xi Chong 石崇 during the Western Jin 西晉 dynasty.
Lü Zujian 呂祖儉 여조검
(뤼쭈젠)
Lü Zujian(呂祖儉, ?~1196) was an official and Confucian scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty. He was a younger brother of Lü Zuqian(呂祖謙). He was demoted and exiled to Shao Prefecture(韶州) due to discord with Grand Councilor Han Tuozhou(韓侂胄). He followed the philosophical thought of Cheng Hao(程顥) and Cheng Yi(程頤). 여조검(呂祖儉), 자약(子約), 대우(大愚)
Lü Zuqian 呂祖謙 여조겸
(뤼쭈첸)
Lü Zuqian(呂祖謙, 1137~1181) was a writer and philosopher of the Song Dynasty. When the Song court fled to Hangzhou(杭州) and founded the Southern Song Dynasty(南宋), Lü Zuqian's grandfather Lü Haowen(呂好問) settled down in Wuzhou(婺州), present day Jinhua(金華). The philosophical school of Lü Zuqian is therefore called the "School of Lü(呂學)", "School of Wuzhou(婺學)", or "School of Jinhua(金華學派)". 개봉백(開封伯), 동래선생(東萊先生), 려(呂), 려동래(呂東萊), 려백공(呂伯恭), 려씨(呂氏), 려조겸(呂祖謙), 백공(伯恭), 조겸(祖謙)
Ma Ang 馬昂 마앙
(마앙)
(1399-1476 CE). A high-ranking bureacrat of the Ming Dynasty. He was appointed Minister of War (兵部尙書) in 1458 and promoted to junior guardian of the heir apparent (太子少保) cuncurrently with Minister of War after the successful suppression of the rebellion of Cao Qin (曹欽).

A military official under Wu Sangui (吳三桂) who was executed during the Revolt of the Three Feudatories in the early Qing period.

A Qing 淸 diplomat stationed in Korea during the reign of King Sunjong 純宗.
