A regional military commissioner 都司 during the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). He was dispatched to Japanese military bases as the peace envoy in 1595. 응룡(應龍), 장도사(章都司)
Zhang Yingyuan 張應元 장응원
(장잉위안)
He participated in the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion), and was killed in battle in 1598. The Joseon court provided him with a coffin. 장응원(張應元)

Zhang Yong 張勇 장용
(장융)

Zhang Yong 張詠 장영
(장융)
Zhang Young(張詠, 946~1015) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Pu Prefecture(濮州) and earned the jinshi degree(進士) in 980. He was the inventor of the Jiao Zi(交子), the first chinese paper currency in history. He was posthumously honored as Zhongding(忠定). 장영(張詠), 복지(復之), 괴애(乖崖)
Zhang Yong 張永 장영
(장융)
(1465-1529). A native of Baoding 保定, Hebei 河北. One of the so-called "Eight Tigers" (ba hu 八虎), the eight powerful eunuchs during the reign of Emperor Wuzong 武宗 of the Ming. When he served as army supervisor (jianjun 監軍) of the expeditionary force to suppress the revolt of the Prince Anhua (Anhua Wang 安化王), he accused Liu Jin 劉瑾 of treason. Liu jin, the most powerful eunuch of the "Eight Tigers", was executed.

A military commander stationed in Shanxi Province(陝西) during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. 장용방(張勇方)

A high-ranking official during the Eastern Han period who served as grand commandant 太尉 and senior tutor 太傅. 안창후(Anchang Hou 安昌侯), 우(Yu 禹)
Zhang Yuanzhi 張元知 장원지
(장위안즈)
A native of Liaodong 遼東. In 1559 he suggested that the Ming court collect taxes on stores in Liaodong and make a profit from the tributary trade with Joseon. 장원지(張元知)
Zhang Yue 張岳 장악
(장웨)
A native of Yuyao 餘姚 and jinshi of 1559. He served as supervising secretary 給事中, Vice Minister of the Court of the Imperial Stud 太僕寺小卿, right assistant censor-in-chief 右僉都御史 in Nanjing 南京 among other positions. When Zhang Juzheng 張居正 wanted the court to exempt him from observing the mourning period for his late father, he argued that Zhang should fulfill the obligation with the result that Zhang demoted him. Later, however, he became Right Vice Minister 右侍郞 of the Ministry of Justice 刑部. 장악(張岳)
