Zhao Fumin 趙撫民 조무민
(자오푸민)
A rebel leader who was active between the Hui River 淮水 and the Tang River 碭水 around 1600. He gathered people with witchcraft. 조무민(趙撫民)
Zhao Gao 趙高 조고
(자오가오)
(d. 207 BCE). A powerful enuch of the Qin dynasty who had been partly blamed for the fall of the empire. Following the death of the First Emperor, he, with Li Si 李斯, plotted to make Hu Hai 胡亥, the second son of the First Emperor, the Second Emperor. 고(Gao 高)
Zhao Gong 趙羾 조공
(자오궁)
A native of Xiangfu 祥符 and juren 擧人 of 1387. He studied at the National University 太學 in Nanjing 南京. He served as a Secretary 主事 in the Ministry of War 兵部. He presented a military map which pointed out every critical strategic point in the empire. Emperor Taizu 太祖 of Ming regarded his talent highly, so he was promoted as an administrative commissioner 參政 in Zhejiang 浙江. He made a contribution to expel Japanese pirates. During the Yongle 永樂 period, he was an envoy to Vietnam. After he came back, he served as the vice Ministers 侍郞 of the Ministries of Rites 禮部, Justice 刑部, and War 兵部 successively. Later he served as ministers 尙書 of the above ministries. He was known to be very upright and intelligent. 조공(趙羾), 공(羾)
Zhao Gong Shi 召公奭 소공석
(자오궁스)
A son of King Wen of Zhou 周文王) who helped King Wu of Zhou 周武王 conquer the Shang dynasty. He was enfeoffed in Yan 燕 after the Zhou dynasty was established. 군석(Jun Shi 君奭), 소백(Zhao Bo 召伯), 주소공(Zhou Zhao Gong 周召公)
Zhao Guanghan 趙廣漢 조광한
(자오광한)
(d. 65 BCE). An official of the Western Han dynasty who was renowned for the strict enforcement of the law. Impeached by Xiao Wangzhi 蕭望之, he was executed. 광한(Guanghan 廣漢), 자도(Zidu子都)
Zhao Guangqi 趙光奇 조광기
(자오광치)
Zhao Guangqi(趙光奇) was a commoner during the reign of Emperor Dezong(德宗) of the Tang Dyansty. In 787, Emperor Dezong visited Zhao Guangqi's house on his way to hunt. When Emperor Dezong asked him whether he thought the whole nation lived happily, he answered honestly that the people lived miserable lives due to heavy taxation. 조광기(趙光奇)

A rebel leader who was active between the Hui Rever 淮水 and the Tang River 碭水 around 1600. 조고원(趙古元)
Zhao Hong 趙竑 조횡
(자오훙)
Zhao Hong(趙竑,?~1225) was the heir of Prince of Yi(沂王), Zhao Bing(趙抦), who was the cousin of Emperor Ningzong(寧宗) of the Song Dynasty. In 1224, Emperor Ningzong installed him as the Heir Apparent; however, after Emperor Ningzong's death, Shi Miyuan(史彌遠) helped Zhao Yun(趙昀) become Emperor Lizong(理宗), by forging the previous emperor's will. After Emperor Lizong's enthronement, he was forced to commit suicide. 횡(竑)

(자오후)
A meritorious high-ranking official under King Xuan of Zhou 周宣王. He is also renowned for defeating Huaiyi 淮夷. 소목공(Zhao Mu Gong 召穆公)
