Pang Ji(龐籍, 988~1063) was an official of the Song Dynasty. In 1053, a minor official Huangfu Yuan(皇甫淵) bribed his nephew Zhao Qingkuang(趙清貺) in order to get promotion. After the scandal was disclosed, he ordered Zhao Qingkuang arrested and tried at the Kaifeng court with the result that Zhao Qingkuang wasbanished. Zhao Qingkuang died on the way to exile. Due to this case, Pang was also discharged as Grand Councilor and demoted to a sinecure position in a remote area. In 1060 Emperor Renzong(仁宗) summoned him back to Kaifeng. He had great capabilities and talent, while his appearance was very ugly, so he had a nickname "Fledging Phoenix" 鳯雛. Pang Tong died during the siege of Luocheng 雒城. Pang Xiangshou(龐相壽, ?-?) was Prefect of Pu Prefecture(濮州) in the reign of Emperor Taizong(太宗) of Tang. He was expelled from the position for bribery and corruption.
