Nam Min(南敏, ?-?), was originally Jin Zhong(金忠) from Runan(汝南) of the Tang(唐). In 755, as a Anlianshi(按廉使), he had visited Japan. On his return journey, his ship drifted ashore to Silla(新羅) during a typhoon, and he became a naturalized citizen of Silla. King Gyeongdeok(景德王) of Silla bestowed him the new surname, Nam(南氏) and granted Yeongyang District(英陽縣) as his possession.
