A former Ming soldier of Tielingwei (鐵嶺衛), Liaodong (遼東) who was taken captive by the Jurchen people and later fled to Joseon during the reign of King Sejong. He stayed in Korea as a Chinese language instructor 이상(李相), 상(相)

He was orginally Korean. After he had moved to Liaodong 遼東, he returned to Korea in the early years of King Taejo. The Joseon court sent him and his family back to Liaodong in order not to irritate the Ming governemnt. 이한니(李閑你)
Li Xilie 李希烈 이희렬
(리시례)
Li Xilie(李希烈, ?-786) was a general of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He was a subordinate of Li Zhongchen(李忠臣), military governor of Huaixi(淮西節度使), but later he drove out Li Zongchen and he made himself military governor of Huaixi. At first, he was submissive toward the Tang(唐朝), but he later revolted, naming his country Chu(楚) and calling himself the Emperor. When it seemed clear that he would be defeated by Tang(唐) forces in 786, he was killed by Chen Xianqi(陳仙奇), his subordinate. 이희렬(李希烈), 희렬(希烈)
Li Xinfang 李新芳 이신방

He came to Korea during the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). He served as adjutant 中軍 of Yang Yuan 楊元, a regional commander 總兵. He was defeated and killed at Namwon 南原 in 1597. 이신방(李新芳), 신방(新芳)

Li Xun 李訓 이훈

Li Zhongyan(李仲言, ?-835), also known as Li Xun(李訓), was an official of the Tang Dynasty who enjoyed the confidence of Emperor Wenzong(文宗). He became a trusted advisor of Emperor Wenzong and later plotted with the emperor to end the influence of eunuchs in the court.
