(쳰쓰성)
A renowned scholar during the Yuan-Ming transition period. Emperor Hongwu 洪武 invited him to court when he was over 70. The emperor wanted to hire him as a teacher for the crown prince as well as imperial advisor, but he rejected the imperial offer. 전사성(全思誠)
Qian Tang 錢瑭 전당
(쳰탕)
An official during the Hongwu 洪武 period. When the emperor tried to expel Mencius 孟子 from the Confucian temple, he protested with the result that he was shot and wounded by an arrow. But due to his protest, Mencius was not expelled from the temple. 전당(錢瑭)

Qian Xiangkun 錢象坤 전상곤
(쳰샹쿤)
(1569-1640). A native of Kuaiji 會稽 and jinshi of 1601. He served as Grand Secretary 大學士 in the Chongzhen 崇禎 period. He persecuted Yuan Chonghuan 袁崇煥 for his secret collusion with Qing. 전상곤(錢象坤)

A company commander 千總 under the brigade general 遊擊, Lu Degong 盧得功 during the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). He was shot by the Japanese in a battle during the war and died soon after. 전응태(錢應太)
