Zhang Jun(張浚, 1094 ~ 1164) was a military commander of the Southern Song dynasty who insisted on resisting invasion by the Jin dynasty(金). He earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1118. He was the father of Zhang Shi(張栻) and a disciple of Qiao Ding(譙定). Zhang Liang(張亮) was a general during the transition between Sui and Tang(隋末唐初). Born in Zheng prefecture(鄭州), he was from a humble family. In the late Sui period, he worked under Li Mi(李密) as a strategist. In 618, Li Mi was defeated by Wang Shichong(王世充), and he surrendered to Tang. He served Emperor Taizong(太宗) as chancellor.
