A subordinate of Mao Wenlong 毛文龍. He came to the costal areas of Joseon in order to collect provisions around 1631. 장홍표(張弘驃)

A military commander of the Ming Dynasty who was sent to Joseon(朝鮮) during the reign of King Seonjo(宣祖). 장홍유(張鴻儒), 홍유(鴻儒)
Zhang Hou 張后 장후
(장허우)
She was a royal concubine of Emperor Suzong(肅宗) of the Tang Dynasty. She married Emperor Suzong when he was the crown prince. After Emperor Suzong ascended to the throne, he installed her as Shufei(淑妃). In 758, she was installed as Empress. In 762, as the emperor grew gravely ill, she tried to have Li Fuguo(李輔國) put to death, but instead she was captured and killed by him. 장첩여(張婕妤), 장후(張后)

(232-300). An official and writer of the Western Jin 西晉 dynasty. He submitted a memorial to Emperor Wu 武帝, advising an attack on the Eastern Wu 東吳. 무선(Wuxian 茂先)
Zhang Huang 張瑝 장황
(장황)
Zhang Huang(張瑝) was the son of Zhang Shensu(張審素), who was an official during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong(玄宗) of the Tang dynasty. Zhang Shensu was falsely accused of treason and put to death by Yang Wang(楊汪). Later Zhang Huang took vengeance on Yang Wang for his father’s death, but he was also executed. 황(瑝)
Zhang Jianzhi 張柬之 장간지
(장졘즈)
Zhang Jianzhi(張柬之, 625-706) was an official of the Tang Dynasty and Wu Zetian(武則天)'s Zhou (周) Dynasty, who served Wu Zetian(武則天) and her son Emperor Zhongzong(中宗). He played a central role in overthrowing Wu Zetian(武則天) and restoring Emperor Zhongzong(中宗) in 705. However due to false accusations instigated by Wu Zetian's nephew Wu Sansi(武三思), he was later exiled and died in exile. 간지(柬之), 동지(東之), 장(張), 장간지(張柬之), 맹장(孟將)
Zhang Jicaibao 張積財寶 장적재보
(장지차이바오)
He was captured by the Jianzhou Jurchens 建州女眞. He escaped to Korea in 1488. The Joseon court sent him back to Liaodong 遼東. 장적재보(張積財寶)
Zhang Jie 張戒 장계
(장제)
Zhang Jie(張戒. ?~?) was an official and literary critic of the Song Dynasty. He came from Zhengping District(正平) of Jiang Prefecture(絳州) and earned the jinshi degree in 1124. He was appointed Aide of the Directorate of Education(國子監丞) on the recommendation of Zhao Ding(趙鼎) in 1135 and then promoted Inspecting Censor(監察御使) in 1138. However, he was demoted due to the downfall of Zhao Ding. He was associated with Chen Yuyi(陳與義) of the Jiangxi School of Poetry(江西詩派), but he disapproved of the school's formalism. 장계(張戒)

A Ming envoy who visited Korea in 1401 with the seal and the message that the Ming emperor enfeoffed Taejong as the King of Joseon. 근(謹), 장근(章謹)

(장진)
A native of Suzhou 蘇州. He passed the civil examination when he was 22. He visited Korea as an envoy in 1476. 근(瑾), 장근(張瑾)
