Zhang Jianzhi(張柬之, 625-706) was an official of the Tang Dynasty and Wu Zetian(武則天)'s Zhou (周) Dynasty, who served Wu Zetian(武則天) and her son Emperor Zhongzong(中宗). He played a central role in overthrowing Wu Zetian(武則天) and restoring Emperor Zhongzong(中宗) in 705. Zhang Jie(張戒. ?~?) was an official and literary critic of the Song Dynasty. He came from Zhengping District(正平) of Jiang Prefecture(絳州) and earned the jinshi degree in 1124. He was appointed Aide of the Directorate of Education(國子監丞) on the recommendation of Zhao Ding(趙鼎) in 1135 and then promoted Inspecting Censor(監察御使) in 1138. However, he was demoted due to the downfall of Zhao Ding. He was associated with Chen Yuyi(陳與義) of the Jiangxi School of Poetry(江西詩派), but he disapproved of the school's formalism. | 장계(張戒) |
