Xu Wen(徐溫, 862~927) was a major general and regent of Wu(吳) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period(五代十國時代). In 908, he assassinated Prince Wu(吳王) Yang Wo(楊渥) and seized power. However, he was also assassinated by Zhang Hao(張顥) in the following year. Xu Xi(徐禧, 1035~1082) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Fenning county(汾寧縣), Hong Prefecture(洪州). He was the brother-in-law of Huang Tingjian(黃庭堅). In 755, when An Lushan rebelled against the Tang Dynasty, he was appointed Governor of Suiyang(睢陽太守). He defended Suiyang(睢陽) against An Lushan's large army for a year.
