Xia Yin 夏寅 하인
(샤인)
A native of Songjiang 松江. A jinshi of 1448. He served as Secretary 主事 of the Ministry of Personnel 吏部 in Nanjing 南京, Director 郎中 of the same ministry, vice provincial judge 安察副使 of Jiangxi 江西, and then administration vice commissioner 參政 of Zhejiang 浙江 successively. Later he became provincial administration commissioner 布政使 of Shandong 山東. 하인(夏寅)

A man of great strength and a famous warrior of the state of Wey 衛 during the Warring States period. 육(Yu 育), 청(Qing 靑)
Xia Yu Wang 夏禹王 하우왕
(샤위왕)
One of the sage-kings in Chinese mythology and the legendary founder of the so-called Xia 夏 dynasty, the putative oldest dynasty in China. According to legend, Di Shun 帝舜 passed the throne to him because of his reputation for moral conduct and his great contribution to the control of the great flood. 우(Yu 禹), 대우(Da Yu 大禹), 백우(Bo Yu 伯禹), 신우(Shen Yu 神禹), 하우(Xia Yu 夏禹), 하우씨(Xia Yu Shi 夏禹氏), 하후씨(Xia Hou Shi 夏后氏)
Xia Yuanji 夏原吉 하원길
(샤위안지)
(1366-1430). A native of Dexing 德興, Jiangxi 江西. Emperor Hongwu 洪武 recognized his talent and made him Secretary 主事of the Ministry of Revenue 戶部. The Emperor Jianwen 建文 promoted him to Vice Minister 侍郞 of the same ministry, and Emperor Yongle 永樂 also regarded him very highly. He took charge of finacial matters of Zheng He's 鄭和 voyages and the northern expeditions against the Mongols. As the Ming goverment stores became empty from those exorbitant activities, he was against another northern expedition in 1424 with the result that he was put into jail. After the failure of the expedition and the death of Emperor Yongle 永樂, he was released and became Minister 尙書 of the same ministry again. 하원길(夏原吉)
Xia Yunzheng 夏雲蒸 하운증
(샤윈정)
A loyal subordinate of Mao Wenlong 毛文龍. When he was in Joseon, Liu Xingzhi 劉興治 incited a rebellion and occupied Gado 椵島. Xia did not want to return to Gado, so the Joseon court let him stay in the Korean army. 하운증(夏雲蒸)

A head of one hundred households of Liaodong 遼東. He was drowned while returning to Liaodong with cattle in 1395. 질(質), 하질(夏質)

An imperial academician 博士 who came into repeated conflict with Gong Sheng 龔勝 during the late Western Han period.

A prominent scholar of the Venerated Documents 尙書 and academician 博士 during the reign of Emperor Xuan 宣帝 in the Western Han dynasty. 하(Xia 夏)

Xian Kejin 仙克謹 선극근
(셴커진)
(1562-1642 CE). The gentleman of the Bureau of Operations in the Ministry of War (兵部職方司郞) who drew the Map of Strategic Passes in the Liao and Ji Regions (遼薊關防圖) during the Wanli era (1573-1620).
