Wang Xiang 王祥 왕상 (위)
(왕샹)
(184-268 CE). A high-ranking bureaucrat who had a high reputation for his filial piety during the Wei and Jin periods. He served as Defender-in-Chief (太尉) in the Wei (魏) and Grand Guardian (太保) in the Jin 晉. 상(祥)
Wang Xiang 王祥 왕상 (명)
(왕샹)
A native of Guangzhou 光州, Henan 河南. A military commander in Liaodong 遼東 in the 1440s and 1450s. He served as commander 指揮使 of the left guard 左衛 of Yanshan 燕山 during the Yongle 永樂 era (1403-1425) of the Ming, and was later promoted to assistant commissioner-in-chief 都督僉事 in the first year (1450) of Jingtai 景泰 era.
