Wang Zeng 王曾 왕증

Wang Zeng(王曾, 978~1038) was an official of the Northern Song dynasty. He was born in Yidu District(益都縣), Qing Prefecture(靑州) and earned the jinshi (進士) degree in 1002. In the reign of Emperor Renzong(仁宗), he was demoted and banished for his attempts to restrict the political power of Regent Empress Dowager Liu(劉太后). He was posthumously honored as Wenzheng(文正). 왕증(王曾), 효선(孝先)

Wang Zhaosu(王昭素, 894~982),born in Kaifeng Superior Prefecture(開封府), was a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty. Well learned in the Odes(詩經) and the Book of Changes(周易), he lectured to Emperor Taizu(太祖) in 970 and reached the position of Erudite of the State Academy Directorate(國子博士). 소소(昭素), 왕소소(王昭素)
