Wang Qinruo(王欽若, 962~1025) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He was the Grand Councilor in the reigns of Emperor Zhenzong(眞宗) and Emperor Renzong(仁宗). He led the compilation of Prime Tortoise of the Record Bureau(冊府元龜), an imperial encyclopedia. He presented a few very unpopular proposals, including moving the capital to the south. Moreover, he appeared to have a personal vendetta against the upright official Kou Zhun(寇準). He was nicknamed one of the "Five Devils(五鬼)", along with Ding Wei (丁謂), Lin Te (林特), Chen Pengnian (陳彭年) and Liu Chenggui (劉承珪) by the people of those days. | 왕흠약(王欽若), 흠약(欽若), 정국(定國) |
