(190-228). A military general and strategist of the Shu Han 蜀漢 during the Three Kingdoms period. A native of Xiangyang Commandery 襄陽郡. In the historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms 三國志演義, he was said to have been executed on Zhuge Liang's 諸葛亮 order. However, according to the Records of Three Kingdoms 三國志, Ma Su had actually attempted to escape after his defeat at Jieting 街亭, but was arrested. Ma Sui(馬燧, 726-795) was a general of the Tang Dynasty. He was renowned for his battles against the rebel generals Li Lingyao(李靈曜), Tian Yue(田悅), Zhu Tao(朱滔), and Li Huaiguang(李懷光).
