Chansun Shunde(長孫順德) was an official of the Sui and the Tang Dynasties. When Li Yuan(李淵) was preparing to rise against the Sui Dynasty in Taiyuan(太原), he surrendered to Li Yuan. Zhao Bian(趙抃, 1008~1084) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He came from Xian'an District(西安), Qu Prefeture(衢州) and earned the jinshi degree in 1034. During his service as Attendant Censor at Court(殿中侍御史), he impeached anyone who committed a crime regardless of their power and wealth. This earned him the nickname Censor of Iron Face(鐵面御史).
