Pan Lianggui(潘良貴, 1094~1150) was an official of the Song Dynasty. Since he often impeached powerful officials, he was repeatedly demoted and discharged from his posts. In the reign of Emperor Gaozong(高宗), he was demoted to Prefect of Yanzhou(嚴州知州) because of discord with Grand Councilor Lü Yihao(呂頤浩). 반량귀(潘良貴), 자천(子賤), 묵성거사(默成居士)
Pan Lu 潘祿 반록
(판루)
One of the Ming commoners taken captive by the Japanese pirates who pillaged Ningbo (寧波). He was rescued and sent back to the Ming by the Joseon authorities in 1523.
Pan Mei 潘美 반미
(판메이)
Pan Mei(潘美, 925~991) was a renowned military general in the early Song period. He distinguished himself in the war against Southern Han(南漢). However, he was demoted for being defeated in the battle with Southern Tang(南唐). Since he was the grandfather of the empress consort of Emperor Zhenzong(眞宗), he was posthumously installed as prince. 반미(潘美), 중순(仲詢)
Pan Wenkui 潘文奎 반문규
(판원쿠이)
A native of Yongjia (永嘉), Zhejiang (浙江). Winning the imperial civil service examination in 1400, he was later promoted Assistant Administration Commissioner of Fujian (福建布政司參議).

A Chinese refugee who was sent back to Liaodong(遼東) by the Joseon authorities during the reign of King Seongjong(成宗). 반우(潘友)
Pang Ji 龐籍 방적
(팡지)
Pang Ji(龐籍, 988~1063) was an official of the Song Dynasty. In 1053, a minor official Huangfu Yuan(皇甫淵) bribed his nephew Zhao Qingkuang(趙清貺) in order to get promotion. After the scandal was disclosed, he ordered Zhao Qingkuang arrested and tried at the Kaifeng court with the result that Zhao Qingkuang wasbanished. Zhao Qingkuang died on the way to exile. Due to this case, Pang was also discharged as Grand Councilor and demoted to a sinecure position in a remote area. In 1060 Emperor Renzong(仁宗) summoned him back to Kaifeng. Pang Juan 龐涓 방연
(팡쥐안)
(d. 342 BCE). A general and military strategist of the state of Wei 魏 during the Warring States Period. At first, he studied the art of war with Sun Bin 孫臏 under Guikuzi 鬼谷子. He was jealous of Sun Bin's talent, so he slandered Sun Bin to make him permanently disabled. But he was eventuially defeated by Sun Bin of the state of Qi and then committed suicide. 방연(龐涓)
Pang Meng 逄蒙 방몽
(팡멍)
A disciple of the famous archer Yi 羿. He is said to have killed his master Yi to become the best archer under heaven.
