(d. 140 BCE). A prominent rhapsody 賦 writer during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han 漢武帝. 매(Mei 枚)
Mei Fu 梅福 매복
(메이푸)
Superintendent (wei 尉) of Nanchang 南昌 county during the late Western Han period who warned the Han court against Wang Mang 王莽. Once Wang Mang usurped the throne, he secluded himself.
Mei Guozhen 梅國禎/梅國楨 매국정
(메이궈전)
(1542-1605). A native of Macheng 麻城, Hubei 湖北. He won a jinshi degree in 1583, and served as Grand Coordinator (巡撫) and Vice Minister of the Right 右侍郞 of the Ministry of War 兵部. He recommended Li Rusong 李如松 to the Ming government as Provincial Military Commander 提督.

(멍번)
A man of great strength and a famous warrior of the state of Wey 衛 during the Warring States period. 분(Ben 賁)
Meng Chang 孟昶 맹창
(멍창)
(d. 410). A high-ranking official in the court of the late Eastern Jin 晉 dynasty.
Meng Changshu 孟昌殊 맹창수
(멍창수)
A Ming commoner who was taken captive by the Jurchen and fled to Jongseongjin (鍾城鎭) in Joseon. He was released to Liaodong (遼東) by the Joseon authorities in 1484.

(멍다오)
An assistant regional commander (參將) during the Chongzhen era (1628-1644) of the Ming. 맹(孟)
Meng Gongchuo 孟公綽 맹공작
(멍궁춰)
One of the reputed ministers 大夫 of the state of Lu 魯 during the Spring and Autumn period. According to the Analects 論語, Confucius said, "Meng Gongchuo is more than fit to be chief officer in the families of Zhao 趙 and Wei 魏, but he is not fit to be minister to either of the state of Teng 騰 or Xue 薛." 공작(Gongchuo 公綽)
Meng Gui 孟貴 맹귀
(멍구이)
A Ming commoner fled from the Jianzhou Jurchens to Joseon and was released to Liaodong (遼東) by the Joseon authorities in the tenth year (1479) of King Seongjong (成宗) of Joseon.
