A prominent scholar of the Odes 詩 during the Western Han period. 악수백(Yueshou Bo 樂壽伯)
Mao Cheng 毛澄 모징
(마오청)
(1460-1523 CE). A native of Suzhou (蘇州), the Southern Metropolitan Area (南直隸). Winning first place in the imperial civil service examination in 1494, he was later promoted to Minister of Rites (禮部尙書).
Mao Chenglu 毛承祿 모승록
(마오청루)
(?~1632) An adopted son of Commissioner-in-Chief (dudu 都督) Mao Wenlong 毛文龍 during the late Ming period. He participated in the revolt led by Li Jiucheng 李九成, Kong Youde 孔有德 and Geng Zhongming 耿仲明 in 1632 (Wuqiao Revolt 吳橋兵變). Defeated by the Ming, he was captured and executed by the Ming army. 승록(承祿)
Mao Chengxian 毛承先 모승선
(마오청센)
A company commander (qianzong 千摠) duirng the Wanli era (1573-1620) who was killed in the Battle of Namwon 南原 in Joseon. 승선(承先)
Mao Daji 毛大己 모대기
(마오다지)
A company commander (千摠) during the Tianqi era (1621-1627) of the Ming.
Mao Guoke 茅國科 모국과
(마오궈커)
A Ming official during the Wanli era (1573-1620) who was dispatched to Joseon as a commissioner (差官) in 1600. 국과(國科)

(마오궈치)
One of the mobile corps commanders (遊擊) dispatched to Joseon during the Imjin War(or Hideyoshi's Invasion). 국기(國器), 모유격(茅遊擊)
Mao Ji 毛琦[毛紀] 모기
(마오지)
Refers to Mao Ji 毛紀 (1463-1545). A native of Laizhou 萊州, Shandong 山東. He won a jinshi degree in 1487, and was eventually appointed Senior Grand Secretary 首輔 in the third year (1524) of the Jiajing 嘉靖 era. He resigned from his official post during the so-called Great Rites Controversy 大禮議.
