Han Xin 韓歆 한흠
(한신)
An upright grand minister over the masses 大司徒 during the reign of the Emperor Guangwu of Han 漢光武帝. He was removed from office and committed suicide after he remonstrated with Emperor Guangwu.

(d. 196 BCE). A prominent military commander who contributed greatly to the founding of the Western Han dynasty. As Emperor Gao 高祖 was afraid of his growing influence, he was entrapped and executed by Empress Lü 呂后. 신(Xin 信), 한(Han 韓)
Han Xiu 韓休 한휴
(한시우)
Han Xiu(韓休, 672-739), born in the Chang'an(長安) district of Capital commandery(京兆), was an offical of the Tang Dynasty. He briefly served Emperor Xuanzong(玄宗) as chancellor. He was reputed to be a man of kindness and honesty. 한휴(韓休), 휴(休), 백옥(伯玉)
Han Xuan Di (Emperor Xuan of Han) 漢宣帝 한선제

(92-49 BCE; r. 74-49 BCE). Liu Bingyi 劉病已. The tenth emperor of the Western Han dynasty. The great-grand son of Emperor Wu 武帝 and the grand son of Liu Ju 劉據 who was deposed by the heir apparent. After Emperor He's death, Liu Bingyi was declared emperor by Huo Guang 霍光. During his reign, the empire enjoyed general peace and prosperity thanks to a policy of retrenchment. 공손(Gongsun 公孫), 병이(Bingyi 病已), 선(Xuan 宣), 선제宣帝, 중종(Zhongzong 中宗), 한효선제(Han Xiao Xuan Di 漢孝宣帝)
Han Yi 韓益 한익
(한이)
Han Yi(韓益) was an official during the reign of Emperor Wenzong(文宗) of the Tang Dynasty. As he was very knowledgeable in financial affairs, he was appointed to positions related to finance on the recommendation of Chancellor Li Shi(李石). Later, however, when he was accused of receiving bribes, Li Shi regreted the recommendation. 한익(韓益)
Han Yi 韓億 한억
(한이)
Han Yi(韓億, 972~1044) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He earned the jinshi (進士) degree in 1002 and was a son-in-law of Grand Councilor Wang Tan(王旦). In the reign of Emperor Renzong(仁宗), he insisted on recruiting competitive generals and compiling books on military strategy. He later became Left Assistant Director in the Department of State Affairs (尚書左丞). He was posthumously honored as Zhongxian(忠憲). 한억(韓億), 종위(宗魏)

Han Yu 韓愈 한유
(한위)
Han Yu(韓愈, 768-824)was an official, essayist, and poet during the Tang dynasty. He is regarded as a precursor of Neo-Confucianism. In 815, he wrote A Memorial on Bone-relics of the Buddha論佛骨表, which was a strongly worded protest against Buddhist influence on the country. Enraged, Emperor Xianzong(憲宗) demoted him to prefect of Chao prefecture(潮州刺史). In the reign of Emperor Mu(穆宗), he returned to Chang'an and was appointed VIce Minister of the Ministry of Personnel(吏部侍郞). He is generally considered the greatest master of classical prose in the Tang Dynasty. He was an important Confucian intellectual in his day and sponsor of many literary figures. 유(愈), 창려후(昌黎侯), 한(韓), 한문공(韓文公), 한유(韓愈), 한유지(韓愈之), 한자(韓子), 한창려(韓昌黎), 한퇴지(韓退之)
