Han Tong(韓通, ?~960) was a general of the Later Zhou (後周) Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period(五代十國時代). When Zhao Kuangyi(趙匡胤) rebelled against the Later Zhou in 960, he attempted to resist Zhao, but his plan was exposed and all his family were exterminated. Han Tuozhou(韓侂胄, 1152~1207) was an official of the Southern Song Dynasty and Grand Councilor to Emperor Ningzong(寧宗). He suppressed the philosophy of Zhu Xi(朱熹) and banished Zhu Xi's supporters from the court.
