Linning 琳寧 임녕
(린닝)
Lin Ning(?~1805) was a member of the Manchu Bordered Blue Banner and the Qing royal family. During the earlier part of the Qianlong era, he served as an imperial attendant of the Ministry of Rites. In the 56th year (1791) of the Qianlong era, he was appointed military governor of Chengjing. He was expelled from office due to a subordinate's bribery case three years later; however, he redeemed his title the next year. In the 5th year (1800) of the Jianqing era, he became Minister of the Ministreis of Works, Rites and Personnel and served as Protector of the Crown Prince.

(d. 1630). Also known as Liu Xingzuo 劉興祚 or Liu Hai 劉海; a native of Kaiyuan 開原, Liaodong 遼東 who was captured by the Manchus but highly regarded by Nurhaci 努爾哈赤 who made him regional vice commander. He came to Ganghwa Island 江華島 as peace envoy during the first Manchu invasion of Korea in 1627. He later surrendered to the Ming and was killed in action by the Manchus. 애탑(愛塔), 劉興祚, 劉海
Liu An 劉安 유안

(179-122 BCE). A grandson of Emperor Gao of Han 漢高祖 and King of Huainan 淮南王 who was famous for publishing the Huainanzi 淮南子 during the early Western Han period. He committed suicide after a plot to revolt was revealed. 안(An 安), 회남(Huainan 淮南), 회남왕(Huainan Wang 淮南王)

Liu Anshi 劉安世 유안세

Liu Anshi(劉安世, 1048~1125) was an official of the Song Dynasty. After earnning the jinshi degree(進士) in 1073, he studied under Sima Guang(司馬光) and later started his official career on the recommendation of Sima Guang. He was referred to as a man of integrity and impeached Zhang Dun(章惇), Cai Que(蔡確) and Fan Chunren(范純仁).
