Li Yuantong(李圓通), born in Jingyang district(逕陽縣), Capital commandery(京兆郡)), was an official of the Sui Dynasty(隋). As his father refused to recognize Li Yuantong as his own, he was abandoned and later raised in Yang Jian(楊堅)' house. His relationship with Yang Jian(楊堅), Emperor Wen of Sui(隋文帝) led him to be promoted to higher official posts after the establishment of Sui.
