Before he left, he recommended his friend Zhuge Liang 諸葛亮 to Liu Bei. | Xu Wen | 徐溫 |
서온 (쉬원) |
Xu Wen(徐溫, 862~927) was a major general and regent of Wu(吳) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period(五代十國時代). In 908, he assassinated Prince Wu(吳王) Yang Wo(楊渥) and seized power. However, he was also assassinated by Zhang Hao(張顥) in the following year. After his adoptive son Xu Zhigao(徐知誥) founded the Southern Tang(南唐), he was posthumously honored Emperor Wu (武皇帝) with the temple name Yizu(義祖). | 서온(徐溫), 돈미(敦美) |

Xu Xi(徐熙, 886-975) was a prominent painter of the Southern Tang(南唐) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period(五代十國時代). It is said that he made hundreds of paintings; however, only a few remain extant. Xu Xi(徐禧, 1035~1082) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Fenning county(汾寧縣), Hong Prefecture(洪州). He was the brother-in-law of Huang Tingjian(黃庭堅).
