Empress Cao(曹皇后, 1016-1079) was a consort of Emperor Renzong(仁宗) of the Song Dynasty. After the dethronement of Empress Guo(郭皇后), she was installed as the next empress in 1033 at the age of 18. When Emperor Yingzong(英宗) was ill, she ruled as regent. In the reign of Emperor Shenzong(神宗), she disapproved of the emperor's policy that adopted the reforms promoted by Wang Anshi(王安石). 송조후(宋曹后), 조(曹)
