Duke Yi of Rong. A ruler of the state of Rong 榮 and favorite retainer of King Li of Zhou 周厲王 who was later sent into exile due to his oppressive rule. 영공(Rong Gong 榮公)
Ru Yi 如意 여의
(루이)
(208-194 BCE). A son of Emperor Gao 高祖 and Consort Qi 戚姬. He was assassinated by the Empress Lü. 조왕(Zhao Wang 趙王), 유여의(Liu Ruyi 劉如意)
Ruan Ji 阮籍 완적
(롼지)
(210-263). A poet and musician during the later Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms periods. One of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove. He had various eccentric behaviors to avoid political dangers in the Western Jin 西晉.
Ruan Qiaozhu 阮喬柱 완교주
(롼차오주)
A man from Fujian (福建) who was cast away on the shore of Ulsan (蔚山) in Joseon 1584.
Ruan Xian 阮咸 완함
(롼셴)
A musician and scholar of the Jin 晉 dynasty. One of the Seven Worthies of the Bamboo Grove. He was known for his love of the Daoist writings of Laozi 老子 and Zhuangzi 莊子 and his art of playing the lute. 중용(Zhongrong 仲容)
Rui Liang Fu 芮良夫 예량부
(루이량푸)
A minister 卿士 in the Zhou court, whose fief was located in Rui 芮. He warned King Li 厲王 against appointing Rong Yi Gong 榮夷公 as a minister 卿士.
