Lin Lingsu(林靈素) was a renowned Taoist priest(道士) of the Northern Song Dynasty. Enjoying the confidence of Emperor Huizong(徽宗), he insisted that the emperor should expel Buddhist monks from the capital, for Buddhism was the religion of barbarians. Lin Manqi 林萬琦 임만기

A subordinate of Wan Shide 萬世德, the military commissioner 經理 of the Ming army in Joseon around 1600. He argued that Confucius should be named the Great Teacher 先師 instead of King of the Confucian Shrine 文廟 in Korea. 임만기(林萬琦)

Lin Shilu 林世祿 임세록

He was sent to Joseon by Shi Xing 石星, Minister 尙書 of the Ministry of War 兵部 during the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). Shi sent him to ascertain if Joseon had colluded with Japan in order to invade China. 임세록(林世祿), 세록(世祿)

Lin Te(林特) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. The population nicknamed him one of the "Five Devils(五鬼)", along with Ding Wei(丁謂), Wang Qinruo(王欽若), Chen Pengnian(陳彭年) and Liu Chenggui(劉承珪). 임특(林特), 사기(士奇)

Lin Xi 林希 임희
(린시)
Lin Xi(林希, 1035?~ 1101?) was an official of the Song Dynasty and a son of Lin Gai(林槪). He was born in Fu Prefecture(福州) and earned the jinshi (進士) degree in 1057. In the reign of Emperor Shenzong(神宗), he was demoted for refusing to go to Goryeo(高麗) as an envoy. In the reign of Emperor Zhezong(哲宗), he participated in the compilation of the Veritable Records of Emperor Shenzong(神宗實錄) as an aide to the Master of Writings(中書舍人).
