(d. 620-607 BCE). Duke Ling. A despotic ruler of the state of Jin 晉 during the Spring and Autumn period. He was killed by Zhao Chuan 趙穿, a cousin (or nephew) of regent Zhao Dun 趙盾.
Ling Tong 凌統 능통
(링퉁)
(189-217/237). A military general serving under the warlord Sun Quan 孫權 during the late Eastern Han and the Three Kingdoms periods. A native of Wu Commandery 吳郡. Since his father, Ling Cao 凌操, was killed by Gan Ning 甘寧 in the expedition against Huang Zu黃祖, he is said to have been in discord with Gan Ning. 통(Tong 統), 공적(Gongji 公績)
Linghu Chu 令狐楚 영호초
(링후추)
Linghu Chu(令狐楚, 766-837), a jinshi of 791, was an official and a poet of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He became chancellor in the reign of the Emperor Xianzong(憲宗). Under Emperor Muzong(穆宗), he was involved in court factional struggles and demoted to military governor of various regions. He was an important person of the Party of Niu(牛黨) in the Niu-Li Factional Struggles(牛李黨爭). 영호초(令狐楚), 각사(殼士)
Linghu Zhang 令狐彰 영호창
(링후장)
Linghu Zhang(令狐彰, ?-773) was a son of Linghu Bi(令狐濞)'s concubine. Originally he served An Lushan(安祿山) and then his son An Qingxu(安慶緒) as deputy general. Afterward he surrendered to the Tang(唐) and was appointed military governor of Huabo(滑亳節度使). He controlled his army strictly and never pillaged people's properties. 영호창(令狐彰), 백양(伯陽)
Linning 琳寧 임녕
(린닝)
Lin Ning(?~1805) was a member of the Manchu Bordered Blue Banner and the Qing royal family. During the earlier part of the Qianlong era, he served as an imperial attendant of the Ministry of Rites. In the 56th year (1791) of the Qianlong era, he was appointed military governor of Chengjing. He was expelled from office due to a subordinate's bribery case three years later; however, he redeemed his title the next year. In the 5th year (1800) of the Jianqing era, he became Minister of the Ministreis of Works, Rites and Personnel and served as Protector of the Crown Prince.

(d. 1630). Also known as Liu Xingzuo 劉興祚 or Liu Hai 劉海; a native of Kaiyuan 開原, Liaodong 遼東 who was captured by the Manchus but highly regarded by Nurhaci 努爾哈赤 who made him regional vice commander. He came to Ganghwa Island 江華島 as peace envoy during the first Manchu invasion of Korea in 1627. He later surrendered to the Ming and was killed in action by the Manchus. 애탑(愛塔), 劉興祚, 劉海
Liu An 劉安 유안
(류안)
(179-122 BCE). A grandson of Emperor Gao of Han 漢高祖 and King of Huainan 淮南王 who was famous for publishing the Huainanzi 淮南子 during the early Western Han period. He committed suicide after a plot to revolt was revealed. 안(An 安), 회남(Huainan 淮南), 회남왕(Huainan Wang 淮南王)
