A native of Anfeng 安豊, Shouzhou 壽州 during the Tang dynasty. In ther reign of Emperor Guanwu(光武帝), while working as the magistrate of Luoyang 洛陽令, he executed one of Princess Huyang 湖陽公主's servants who killed innocent people.
