Shen Yanbang 沈彦邦 심언방
(선옌방)
A company commander (千摠) during the Wanli era (1573-1620) of the Ming. 언방(彦邦)
Shen Yiguan 沈一觀[沈一貫] 심일관
(선이관)
(1531-1615 CE). A native of Yinxian (鄞縣) and a jinshi of 1568. The Senior grand Secretary (內閣首輔) during the Wanli (萬歷) era who was one of the key strategists of the Ming army during the Imjin War(or Hideyoshi's Invasion).

(d. 177 BCE). Chancellor of the left 左丞相 during the reign of the Empress Lü in the early Western Han period. A native of Pei 沛.

(선융중)
A messenger of Shen Zhixiang 沈之祥, commander-in-chief 都督. He had an audience with King Injo 仁祖 in 1634.

(선유더)
A company commander 千總 under Mao Wenlong 毛文龍. He visited Seoul in 1628 with a letter from Mao. 유덕(有德), 침유덕(沈有德)
Shen Youjing 沈惟敬 심유경
(선유징)
(d. 1597). A native of Jiaxing 嘉興, Zhejiang 浙. He was originally an idle man. After Pyeongyang 平壤 was taken by the Japanese, Shi Xing 石星, Minister 尙書 of the Ministry of War 兵部, sent him as a peace negotiator to Konishi Yukinaga 小西行長 in order to gain some time to prepare an expeditionary army. He met Toyotomi Hideyoshi 豊臣秀吉 in 1593. In return for a peace treaty, Hideyoshi presented outrageous conditions including the cession of four provinces of Joseon. Shen hid Hideyoshi's conditions, and just reported that Hideyoshi had agreed to conclude the peace treaty if he would be enfeoffed as the King of Japan. Shen Zhixiang 沈志祥 심지상
(선즈샹)
(?-1648) Originally a regional commander 總兵 of the Ming army in Liaodong 遼東 . He surrendered to the Manchus along with his army in 1638 after Pi Island was taken by Manchus. Hongtaiji warmly received him . He, as a Qing general, participated in the campaigns against Ming.

Sheng Cizhog 盛次仲 성차중
(성츠중)
Sheng Cizhog(盛次仲) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Kaifeng Superior Prefecture(開封) and earned the academic degree of Jinshi(進士) in 1061. He successively took positions as Deputy Director of the Court of Judical Review(大理少卿), Vice President of the State Academy(國子司業) and Deputy Director of the Court of Imperial Granaries(太常少卿). 성차중(盛次仲)
