(d. 1630). Also known as Liu Aita 劉愛塔 or Liu Hai 劉海; a native of Kaiyuan 開原, Liaodong 遼東 who was captured by the Manchus but highly regarded by Nurhaci 努爾哈赤 who made him regional vice commander. He came to Ganghwa Island 江華島 as peace envoy during the first Manchu invasion of Korea in 1627.
