Liu Xiang 劉向 유향
(류샹)
(77-6 BCE). One of the greatest classicists during the Han period. He compiled many important works including the Bielu 別錄 which was the comprehensive catalogue of the Han imperial library, the Xinxu 新序, the Shuoyuan 說苑, and the Lienü zhuan 烈女傳. 팽성백(Pengcheng Bo 彭城伯), 하(He 何), 향(Xiang 向), 유경생(Liu Gengsheng 劉更生)

A statesman of the Eastern Jin 東晉 dynasty.
Liu Xin 劉歆 유흠
(류신)
(d. 23 BCE). With his father Liu Xiang 劉向, he was one of the greatest classicists during the Han period. He committed suicide when the plot to assassinate Wang Mang 王莽 was revealed, although he was originally a partisan of Wang Mang.
Liu Xinfu 劉信甫 유신보
(류신푸)
A native of Dongningwei 東寧衛, Liaodong 遼東. He was taken by Jurchens. Later he escaped to Jongseong 鍾城, Korea. Eventually he was sent back to China in 1484. 유신보(劉信甫)

Liu Xingzhi 劉興治 유흥치
(류싱즈)
A younger brother of Liu Xingzuo 劉興祚. He organized a mutiny in Gado 椵島 in 1630. He killed Chen Jisheng 陳繼盛, the supreme commander on the island, and surrendered to the Manchus. 유흥치(劉興治), 흥치(興治)
Liu Xingzuo 劉興祚 유흥조
(류싱쭤)
(d. 1630). Also known as Liu Aita 劉愛塔 or Liu Hai 劉海; a native of Kaiyuan 開原, Liaodong 遼東 who was captured by the Manchus but highly regarded by Nurhaci 努爾哈赤 who made him regional vice commander. He came to Ganghwa Island 江華島 as peace envoy during the first Manchu invasion of Korea in 1627. He later surrendered to the Ming and was killed in action by the Manchus. 유흥조(劉興祚), 유해(劉海), 유애탑(劉愛塔)
Liu Xiong 劉雄 유웅 (명1)
(류슝)
(?-1465). A native of Fengyang, Anhui. He served as as a staff of Military Regional Commission in Sichuan 四川. He was killed while suppressing a rebellion led by Zhao Duo 趙鐸. 유웅(劉雄)
