Liu Shu(劉恕, 1032-1078), born in Jun Prefecture(筠州), was a historian of the Song Dynasty. He earned the jinshi degree(進士) in 1032 and assisted Sima Guang(司馬光) to compile the Comprehensive Mirror to Aid in Government(資治通鑑). As he had a profound knowledge about Chinese history, Sima Guang consulted him about obscure historical facts. Liu Shui(劉蛻) was an official in the reign of Emperor Yizong(懿宗) of the Tang Dynasty. In 864, Zhang Yun(張雲) and Liu Shui(劉蛻) impeached Linghu Hao(令狐滈), chancellor Linghu Tao(令狐綯)'s son.
