Yao Chen 姚臣 요신
(양오천)
A Ming palace eunuch (太監) who was dispatched to Joseon as an envoy for the investiture in the first year (1568) of King Seonjo (宣祖) of Joseon.
Yao Chong 姚崇 요숭
(야오충)
Yao Chong(姚崇, 650-721) served as a chancellor in the Tang Dynasty(唐朝) and Wu Zetian’s Zhou Dynasty(武周). His conflict with Princess Taiping(太平公主) caused his demotion to a local post, but Emperor Xuanzong(玄宗) reinstated him as chancellor. He worked actively to stabilize public livelihood by banning luxuries and reducing taxes. Along with another chancellor of those days, Song Jing(宋璟), he was called ‘Yao Song(姚宋)’ of the Kaiyuan(開元) era. 숭(崇), 요(姚), 요숭(姚崇), 원지(元之)

(1335-1418 CE). A Buddhist priest who was one of the meritorious retainers of the Prince of Yan (燕王) Zhu Di (朱棣) during the Jingnan Rebellion (靖難之變).
