(d. 1644 CE). A regional commander (總兵官) of Liaodong (遼東) during the Chongzhen era (1628-1644) of the Ming and the father of Wu Sangui (吳三桂). He was murdered by the army of Li Zicheng (李自成) in 1644.
Wu Ximeng 吳希孟 오희맹
(우시멍)
A native of Wujin 武進. Winning a jinshi degree in 1532, and was promoted to Supervising Secretary 給事中 of the Office of Scrutiny for Revenue 戶科. He wrote the Shi Chaoxian zhi 使朝鮮集 based on his experience as the Ming envoy to Korea during the reign of King Jungjong 中宗 of Joseon. 무진(武進), 오천사(吳天使), 오희맹(吳希孟), 희맹(希孟)
Wu Xingdao 吳行道 오행도
(우싱다오)
An adivisor of Vice Commander (同知) Shen Sixian (沈思賢) who was dispatched to Joseon during the Imjin War(or Hideyoshi's Invasion).
Wu Xingyuan 伍性原 오성원
(우싱위안)
A student of Zhangzhou prefectual school (漳州府學). With Professor (敎授) Chen Sixian (陳思賢) and five other students, he was executed for installing the soul tablet of the Jianwen emperor (建文帝) in Minglun Hall (明倫堂).
Wu Xiu 鄔修 오수
(우슈)
An usher (序班) of the Court of State Ceremonial (鴻臚寺) of the Ming who was dispatched to Joseon as an envoy in 1404. 수(修)
Wu Xu 吳澨[吳漵] 오서
(우쉬)
Wu Xu(吳漵, ?-?) was a brother of Empress Zhangjing(章敬皇后) Wu(吳氏), a wife of the Emperor Suzong(肅宗). He served as the Kaifu Yitong Sansi(開府儀同三司) and Head of the Crown Prince's Household(太子詹事), and was installed as Duke Puyang Jun(濮陽郡公). During the rebellion of Zhu Ci(朱泚) in the reign of Emperor Dezong(德宗), he volunteered to become envoy to Zhu and was killed by the rebels. 오서(吳澨)

An official who held the post of Clerk(筆帖式) during the reign of Emperor Kangxi (康熙帝) of the Qing dynasty 오응붕(吳應鵬), 응붕(應鵬)
Wu Yingqi 吳應期 오응기
(우잉치)
Wu Yingqi(吳應期, ?~1681) was a nephew of Wu Sangui(吳三桂) who rebelled against the Qing dynasty. 오응기(吳應期), 응기(應期)
Wu Yingxiong 吳應熊 오응웅
(우잉슝)
(d. 1675 CE). A son of Wu Sangui (吳三桂). He was appointed grand mentor of the heir apparent (太子太傅) during the Kangxi (康熙) era of the Qing but was prisoned and executed when Wu Sangui revolted against the Qing. 응웅(應熊)
Wu Yipeng 吳一鵬 오일붕
(우이펑)
(1460-1542 CE). A native of Changzhou (長洲), the Souther Metropolitan Area (南直隸); a jinshi of 1493. He served as a Minister of Rites (禮部尙書) in 1527.
