(1471-1538). A native of Hejian 河間, Zhili直隷 and jinshi of 1502. He served as bachelor 庶吉士, compiler 編修, and academician reader-in-waiting 侍讀學士 of the Hanlin Academy 翰林院 during the Zhengde 正德 period. In the Jiajing 嘉靖 reign, he became ranking grand secretary 內閣首輔. He was a very careful official although he did not make many contributions to the country. 이시(李時)

Li Shigao 李師皋 이사고
(리스가오)
A commander 指揮 of Tangzhan 湯站 in the Jiajing 嘉靖 period. In 1542, he came to Joseon under the pretext of handing over Korean castaways to the King of Joseon. His real purpose was to collect prizes and bribes from Korea. 이사고(李師皋)
Li Shigao 李時高 이시고

A commander 指揮 of Tangzhan 湯站 during the Jiajing 嘉靖 period. He patrolled the border between Korea and China in 1540, expelling Korean people who lived on the Ming frontiers. 이시고(李時高)

A figure who communicated with Yang Wanli (1124-1206), a scholar of the Southern Song dynasty. He held a position of shijiang 侍講, but his name is unknown. 이시강(李侍講)

He served as touring censorial inspector 巡按御史 of Liaodong 遼東. Right after the Joseon court informed the Ming of a Japanese invasion in 1592, he assumed that Joseon and Japan had colluded in invading Ming. 이시얼(李時孽)

Li Shishi(李師師) was a famous courtesan during the reign of Emperor Huizong(徽宗) of the Song Dynasty. She was told to became a imperial concubine of Emperor Huizong. 이사사(李師師)

(d. 1788). A high ranking offcial who served as minister 尙書 and governor-general 總督 during the Qing dynasty. He was charged with capital offenses two times, but was pardoned by the Qianlong Emperor. 이시요(李侍堯), 시요(侍堯), 흠재(欽齋)

An official of the Court for Dependencies 鴻臚寺. He was active during the Jiajing 嘉靖 reign. 이시진(李時眞)
