Li Mi(李密, 582–619) was the leader of a rebellion against the rule of the Sui Dynasty. He initially served under Yang Xuangan(楊玄感) as his strategist. After Yang Xuangan rebelled against the Sui Dynasty and failed in 613, he subsequently rebelled against the Sui Dynasty and later establish a new dynasty. However, in 618, he was defeated by the Sui General Wang Shichong(王世充) and surrendered to Emperor Gaozu(高祖). Later, he rebelled against the Tang and tried to revive his own army.
