Jing Hui(?-706) was an official of the Tang Dynasty(唐). He was born in Pingyang Commandery(平陽郡), Jian Prefecture(絳州), which is currently Linfen(臨汾), Shanxi(山西). He served as chancellor(侍中) during the reign of Emperor Zhongzong(中宗). He was a key figure in the coup that overthrew Wu Zetian(武則天) and restored Emperor Zhongzong in 705. He and his whole families were extinguished in 1402 after his failed attempt to assassinate the Yongle Emperor 永樂帝 in revenge for the Jianwen Emperor. | |
