Zhou Dunyi(周敦頤, 1017–1073) was a Chinese Neo-Confucian philosopher during the Song Dynasty. He was the author of the Explanations of the Diagram of the Supreme Ultimate(太極圖說) and the All-Embracing Book(通書). Zhou Dunyi was a significant influence on Zhu Xi(朱熹). Zhou Fu(周馥) was an official of the Qing dynasty, who took charge of signing the Joseon-Qing Communication and Commerce Rules(朝淸商民水陸貿易章程) in 1882. 주복(周馥)

Zhou Fucheng(周輔成, ?~1032) was the father of Zhou Dunyi(周敦頤), the renowned Neo-Confucian philosopher during the Song Dynasty. He earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1015. He once served as District Magistrate of Guiling(桂岭縣令). 보성(輔成), 회성(懷成), 맹광(孟匡)

Duke Dan of Zhou: a younger brother of King Wu of Zhou, who helped the king overthrow the Shang dyasty and strengthened the basis of the newly founded Zhou dynasty. Zhou Hongmo 周洪謨 주홍모
(저우홍모)
(1421-1492). A native of Changning 長寧, Sichuan 四川. He won first place in the provincial examination in 1444. The next year, he passed the palace examination with the honor of second place and became compiler 編修 of the Hanlin Academy 翰林院. He presented memorials to sucessive emperors advising them to conduct studies and state affairs seriously. He was made Vice Minister 侍郞 of the Ministry of Rites 禮部 in 1476 and then Minister of the same ministry in 1481. He was a talented writer and scholar. He wrote various works including Junjing banyi 群經辨疑. 주홍모(周洪謨)
