Chu Suiliang(褚遂良, 597–658) was an official and calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. He served Emperor Taizong(태종) and Emperor Gaozong(高宗) as chancellor. As one of the most trusted officials of Emperor Taizong, he served as imperial historian and advisor. Later he received Taizong's will and guided Emperor Gaozong, along with Emperor Gaozong's uncle Zhangsun Wuji(長孫無忌). In 655, he was demoted for his opposition to replacing the first Empress Wang(王皇后) with Empress Wu(武后). He died in exile in 658. | 수량(遂良), 저수량(褚遂良), 등선(登善) |
