(d. 484 BCE). A prominent military commander of the state of Wu 吳 and one of the most heroic figures during the late Spring and Autumn period. When his father and elder brother were unjustly executed by King Ping of Chu 楚平王, Wu Zixu fled to the state of Wu, promising vengeance.
