Jia Sidao(賈似道, 1213-1275) was a Grand Councilor of the late Southern Song Dynasty(南宋). Notorious for his corruption and incompetence, he was most infamous for hiding the true situation of the Battle of Xiangyang(襄陽) and deceiving the Song court. In addition, he promoted a policy of land nationalization(公田買收策), which caused financial problems for Song. When he was defeated in the Battle of Wuho(蕪湖), he was demoted from the position of Grand Councilor and killed by Zheng Huchen(鄭虎臣), whose father he had killed. | 가(賈), 가사도(賈似道), 사도(似道) |

A son of Minister of War 兵部尙書 Jia Yingyuan 賈應元 during the Ming dynasty. He won a jinshi degree in 1589. He visited Joseon Korea in 1593 as a secretary 主事 (of probably Ministry of War) and in 1599 as a director 郎中. When Hong Taiji 皇太極 sieged Zunhua 遵化 in 1629, he surrendered to the Later Jin army with all elders in Zunhua.
