Fang La 方臘 방랍

Fang La(方臘, ?~1112) was a rebel leader who lived during the late Northern Song period. In 1120, Fang La led rebel peasants against the Song Dynasty in Shezhou(歙州). Fang La's forces conquered Hangzhou(杭州) and subsequently took control over parts of present-day Jiangsu(江蘇), Zhejiang(浙江), Anhui(安徽) and Jiangxi(江西). However in 1121, he was captured by Han Shizhong(韓世忠) and escorted to the capital Kaifeng(開封). Four months later, he was executed in Kaifeng on the charge of treason. 방랍(方臘)

Fang Shixin 方時新 방시신
(팡스신)
A commandant (守備) dispatched to Joseon during the Imjin War(or Hideyoshi's Invasion). A younger brother of Assistant Regional Commander (參將) Fang Shichun (方時春). He died of illness in Seongju (星州), Joseon.
Fang Shu 方叔 방숙
(팡수)
A minister of King Xuan of Zhou 周宣王, who rendered distinguished service in the expeditions against Xianyun 玁狁 and Huaiyi 淮夷.
Fang Xianfu 方獻夫 방헌부
(팡센푸)
(1485-1544 CE). A native of Chengxuan 승선(承宣), Guangdong (廣東). He served as Senior Grand Secretary (內閣首輔) and Minister of War (兵部尙書) during the Jiajing era (1522-1566) of the Ming.
Fang Xiaoru 方孝孺 방효유
(팡샤오루)
(1357-1402 CE). A prominent Confucian scholar of the Jinhua School in the early Ming period. He firmly refused to compose the inaugural address for the Yongle emperor who usurped the throne of the Jianwen 建文 Emperor. He was executed by waist severing.
Fang Xiaozhong 方孝忠 방효충
(팡샤오중)
One of the Chinese instructors who accompanied commissioner (差官) Yu Xiyuan (余希元) who was disptached to Jianzhouwei (建州衛) to conciliate Nurhaci on behalf of mobile corps commander (遊擊) Hu Dashou (胡大受) in 1595.
Fang Xuanling 房玄齡 방현령
(팡쉬안링)
Fang Xuanling(房玄齡, 579–648) was a famous chancellor in the early years of the Tang Dynasty. He was a intimate assistant of Emperor Taizong(太宗) even before his coup, and participated in the Xuanwu gate coup(玄武門之變). He and his colleague Du Ruhui(杜如晦) were known as examples of good chancellors. They were collectively called Fang Du(房杜). 방(房), 방교(房喬)
