Dou Jiande(竇建德, 573-621) was a rebel leader near the end of the Sui Dynasty. He was defeated and captured by his rival, Li Shimin(李世民) of Tang at the Battle of Hulao(虎牢之戰). He was subsequently put to death. 건덕(建德), 두건덕(竇建德)

A grandson of Dougu Wutu 鬪穀於菟, a prominent prime minister during the reign of King Cheng of Chu 楚成王. When his whole family was exterminated for a failed revolt, he was saved in consideration of the contributions of Dougu Wutu 鬪穀於菟. 극황(Kehuang 克黃)

Dou Shen 竇參 두참
(더우선)
Dou Shen(竇參, 734–793) was an official of the Tang Dynasty who served Emperor Dezong(德宗) as chancellor. He was a man of factionalism. In 792, he was accused of receiving bribes and being improperly associated with governors. He was demoted to military advisor of Huan Prefecture(驩州司馬), and then eventually ordered to commit suicide. 두(竇), 두참(竇參), 시중(時中)

One of the eunuchs bestowed by the Qing emperor on the Crown Prince Sohyeon of Joseon who was returning to Joseon from Beijing. The eunuchs were returned to the Qing after the death of the crown prince.
Dou Wu 竇武 두무

(d. 168 BCE). General-in-chief 大將軍 of Emperor Ling 靈帝 in the late Eastern Han period. He committed suicide after a failed attempt to remove the powerful eunuchs of the Han inner court.

Dou Yan(竇儼, 919~960) was an official during the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty who earned the jinshi(進士) degree during the Later Jin Dynasty(後晉). In the early Song period, as Vice Minister of the Ministry for Rites(禮部侍郞), he supervised state rituals. 두엄(竇儼), 망지(望之)
