He brought the Regular Script 楷書, Semi-cursive Script 行書, and Cursive Script 草書 to perfection, for they were not yet well arranged at that time. 왕애 (왕야) |
Wang Ya(王涯, 764?-835) was an official of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He served as a chancellor in the reign of Emperors Xianzong(憲宗) and Wenzong(文宗). He also took the position of the Jiangnan Quechashi(江南榷茶使). In 835, he was concurrently appointed Supervisor of Tea Affairs (榷茶令), but the appointment was cancelled because of intense objections from inside and outside the court. During the Ganlu Incident(甘露之變) of 835, which was a power struggle between eunuchs and imperial officials, he was defeated and killed, along with Li Xun(李訓) and Zheng Zhu(鄭注). | 애(涯), 왕애(王涯), 광진(廣津) |
