You Mao(尤袤, 1127~1194), courtesy name Yanzhi(延之), pseudonym Suichu Jushi(遂初居士), was an official and poet of the Song Dynasty. He came from Chang Prefecture(常州) and earned Jinshi degree(進士) in 1148. He successively filled various government posts, such as Editorial Director(著作郞), Supervising Secretary(給事中) and Minister of the Rites(禮部尚書). As a poet, he is referred to as one of the "Four great poets of the Southern Song Dynasty(南宋四大家)" with Wang Wanli(楊萬里), Fan Chengda(范成大) and Lu You(陸游).
